Job Title: Production Superintendent – FPSO
Location: Nigeria, 28/28, USD 800/Day
Reports To: Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)

General:

To lead and oversee all production operations on the FPSO, ensuring safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant oil and gas production. The Production Superintendent is responsible for optimizing production output, managing the production team, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production operations on the FPSO, ensuring alignment with production targets and safety requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate the production team, ensuring effective shift handovers, performance monitoring, and personnel development.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance, marine, and other departments to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Troubleshoot and respond to production upsets, equipment failures, or process deviations.
• Monitor production KPIs and report performance metrics to the OIM and onshore management.
• Participate in and lead incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Liaise with onshore operations and support teams for planning, logistics, and technical support.
• Ensure that all production systems, including process control systems, are maintained and functioning effectively.
• Lead emergency response efforts as required, including acting as the Production Section Leader in emergency situations.

Requirement:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in offshore production operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role on an FPSO or offshore platform.
