A well-established marine company located in Tuas is seeking E&I Supervisor cum Inspector on permanent position.

  • S$ 4500 – 5200 per month

  • Other leaves as per MOM regulations
  • 8 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri, 8 am to 12 noon Sat
  • OT at fix rate S$ 8 per hour
  • Shuttle Bus at designated MRT stations

Responsibilities

  • Manage all quality related documents for the E&I discipline
  • Establish the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), and prepare request for inspection based on the approved ITP
  • Ensure that the quality and standards of work and materials used all in accordance with the project and approved standards
  • Monitor and update daily manpower reports
  • Establish the project method of statements for various activities required for the project
  • Maintain a site surveillance log and advise to close construction accordingly
  • Conduct the various necessary site inspection with the stakeholders to clear work progress
  • Manage the sub-contractors to ensure project is aligned to the planned sequence of works and work completed meets the necessary quality standards and requirements
  • Manage resources on site – manpower and materials, report and plan for contingency in case of shortages
  • Attend meetings to discuss on challenges and resolutions
  • Upkeep of the necessary records to QA/QC activity and update the relevant stakeholders
  • Participate and support safety controls, safety programmes and implementations

Requirement

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving in site electrical and instrument supervision works
  • Valid COMPEX/EEHA Certification is required
  • Self-driven, independent, and resourceful
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of ATEX and various international/Project standards
  • Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
